Teens will get to participate in providing positive support for clubs such as Gaming Club, Chess Club, Anime Club, Sewing Club, Art Club, and best of all: Book Clubs! *Check with your guidance counselor to see if you can earn community service credit!!!

The Key West Writers Guild provides a friendly forum for authors to share their writings and receive encouraging and helpful feedback. The Guild obtains information about finding agents, the current publishing industry and markets for writing. Our many activities include: • An annual party. • Our second anthology, Voices from Key West, was just published and is available through members and at many locations throughout Key West. (The first, Key West and Beyond, was published in 2003.) • In collaboration with the Florida Keys Council on the Arts, the Guild presents an annual award to a writer with a book in progress. The Key West Writers Guild meets on the second and fourth Saturday of every month in the conference room. Writers of essays, poetry, fiction, and nonfiction, published and unpublished, are welcome. Our next meeting will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011. Please bring copies of your work to distribute. Formed on September 5, 1995, the Guild is proud
