It is an interactive parent-child time with fun activities designed to promote early literacy, language development and a love of books for 0 to 2 years old. During Toddler Story-time, a librarian reads aloud and leads adult-child pairs in activities. Toddler Story-time also supports early literacy by building vocabulary and sharing age-appropriate literature in an atmosphere of fun, engaging activity.

June Cinematheque's theme? "The Joy of Cooking," movies about those who love fine wine and cooking, and the drama that ensues therein. Our final film selection this month on Wednesday, June 28, is "Bottle Shock" (2008), starring Alan Rickman, Bill Pullman and Chris Pine. Rickman (R.I.P.!) is perfectly cast as a snobby wine expert who goes to California in search of an inexpensive wine for a blind taste test and is shocked to find a winery producing top-notch chardonnay. As always, we will show the film on our large screen and offer free popcorn (yum). Come join us!
