Special Advisory for TDC Alert Subscribers
Below is the 5 p.m. Hurricane Irene Forecast Track.
A minute shift of the cone to the right from the 11 a.m. graphic has Key Largo in the cone. The rest of the Keys are not at this time.
Continue to closely monitor future forecasts, because there is still potential for the cone to shift back to the left, necessitating the need for protective actions.
Also, Irene is expected to generate some adverse weather for the Upper Keys and marine areas off the Keys, beginning Wednesday evening, according to forecasters at the Key West National Weather Service Office.
Another full TDC advisory on Irene is to be transmitted late Tuesday morning.
