30. TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE CARD SOUND BRIDGE SUNPASS ANNUAL PASS PLAN (PASS PLAN)
    In order to avail oneself of the Pass Plan program and be exempted from tolls on the Card Sound Bridge, you must have an existing and ACTIVE SunPass account, owe no money to Monroe County, SunPass or FDOT, agree to maintain a positive balance on your SunPass account at all times and pay for any toll charges you incur, including Toll-by-plate charges. The Pass Plan is only valid for the transponder and vehicle listed on this application, THE PASS PLAN WILL BE VOID IF THE TRANSPONDER IS MOVED TO ANOTHER VEHICLE. This pass is valid for a two axle vehicle only, if you pull a trailer, your SunPass account will be additionally charged at the rate of $1.03 per axle, per trip.
32. The Pass Plan works via an AET (All Electronic Tolling) system that utilizes the signal transmitted from your SunPass transponder with the vehicle license plate listed above. (We do not exempt solely via license plates.) The registered transponder must be tied to an active SunPass account, working and properly mounted in/on your vehicle at all times. All rules and conditions of the SunPass Customer Agreement apply. The SunPass Customer Agreement may be found at https://www.sunpass.com/customerAgreement. Failure to comply with the aforementioned may result in toll charges for which you will be responsible. Mounting instructions may be found at https://www.sunpass.com/SunPassInstallation. For cars requiring alternate mounting visit https://www.sunpass.com/specialWindshields. If you drive a vehicle incompatible with the use of a SunPass Transponder, such as a scooter or a motorcycle without a glass windscreen, you are ineligible for the Pass Plan Program. If the exempt Transponder is not read by the receiver in the electronic toll collection lane for any reason, including but not limited to improper mounting, problem windshields, or other Transponder malfunction, you will be liable for payment of the resulting Toll-by-plate charge, along with any resulting fines, collection or court costs and other penalties which may include points on your driving record which may result in the suspension of one's driver license or vehicle registration. If at any time you damage your exempt transponder, attempt to remove and reuse a sticker/mini transponder carrying an exempt chip, allow your SunPass account balance to fall below zero or fail to properly mount your exempt transponder, you will be liable for any and all charges billed via your license plate. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.
34. User accepts responsibility to maintain a sufficient balance in User’s Prepaid Account at all times to cover applicable tolls. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR TOLLS INCURRED. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. You are responsible for notifying Monroe County and SunPass should you change vehicles or transponders. The Pass Plan is non-transferable and non-refundable and is valid from January 1 to December 31 of 2021. You may be denied a Pass Plan if you owe money to Monroe County, SunPass or FDOT. Failure to adhere to the terms of this agreement may result in suspension and or denial of the Pass Plan. Terms & Conditions of the CARD SOUND BRIDGE ANNUAL SUNPASS PLAN are subject to change at any time, at which time you will be notified via email.
