| The Key West International Airport serves travelers from all over the world. Also known as EYW, the airport is located on the Northeast end of the island of Key West. | | The Florida Keys Marathon Airport is located in the heart of Marathon serving the Upper and Middle Keys. | | Project Management is excited to be launching several new projects in the very near future. The list of projects includes, restoration of brickwork at the East and West Martello’s in Key west, construction of a new Stock Island Fire Station and several studies to be conducted within the County for ADA Transition compliance and an analysis of infrastructure use and efficiency. | | This department provides efficient, reliable, and cost effective information management services through the application of computing technology and related technology resources, provide planning and technical support for county-wide network, computer, telephone and television systems | | Monroe County Veterans Affairs has three offices located in the Florida Keys. The main office is located in Key West and is staffed by the Director, two Veterans Services Counselors and one Senior Administrative Assistant. | | The Monroe County Wastewater Department (WW Dept) applies for and administers grants and loans that fund implementation of the Sanitary Wastwewater Master Plan as provided for in an Interlocal Agreement between the County and the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority. The WW Dept prepares status reports for monthly BOCC meetings, the bi-annual National Marine Sanctuary Water Quality Protection Program Steering Committee meetings, the Area of Critical State Concern Annual Work Program, and as requested to facilitate efforts on the Local, State, and Federal levels to complete the funding plan necessary to obtain compliance with mandatory wastewater upgrades for the Florida Keys. Most recently, the WW Dept spearheaded efforts to ease the financial burden of these upgrades on very low and low income households and supported efforts to obtain grants to install private property laterals. |
