The Monroe County Board of County Commissioners and the University of Florida have shared a productive county/state/federal partnership through the Cooperative Extension Service for 20 years. The primary mission of the Cooperative Extension Service is to disseminate and encourage the application of research-generated knowledge.
The Monroe County Cooperative Extension Office is dedicated toward serving Monroe County by providing objective information to individuals, businesses, and agencies for better decision making and by creating programs and services that provide unique lifelong learning opportunities that empower people to improve their quality of life.
