Mission Statement
The Fire Prevention and Arson Investigation Bureau
of the Monroe County Fire Marshal’s office is committed
to providing our community with a comprehensive
professional fire protection and safety program.
We will accomplish our mission through:
Complete and accurate fire protection engineering
and plan review,
thorough and informative occupancy
inspections,
effective fire and life safety code
enforcement, and
definitive fire cause investigation.
To reduce the loss of life and property in Monroe County,
we pledge to continually improve the effectiveness of
our community service. We will strive to maintain a level
of perfection and enforce the laws of the State of Florida
and ordinances of Monroe County.
