Monroe County Fire Rescue is home to one of thirty one state wide certified training centers for firefighters. The Joe London Fire Training Facility is located on a sprawling island known as Crawl Key, in the heart of the Florida Keys at MM56.5
The academy hosts a variety of courses throughout the year including: Firefighter I and Firefighter II programs specifically designed for our volunteers and members of local municipalities.
