The Board of County Commissioners has "sunset" the Human Services Advisory Board (HSAB) Task Force as of 1-17-07.

The Human Services Advisory Board (HSAB) Task Force was established by the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) on August 16, 2006, to eliminate duplication of services and to create better coordination between nonprofit agencies. The Task Force is composed of eight nonprofit and governmental community leaders. The Task Force must sunset by May 14, 2007 – 270 days from inception.
