The annual Holiday luncheon for seniors was held on Thursday, December 22nd. During the delicious luncheon at the Key West Nutrition dinning site on Truman Avenue, the Key West Sunrise Rotary Club arranged for the Nutrition Program Clients to receive a holiday gift.~This years gift was a portable radio, “to keep them up to date on news during hurricane Season”, said Rotarian Matt Cochran. There they were treated to fabulous meal and entertainment was provided through a State of Florida Cultural Arts Grant administered by the Florida Keys Council on the Arts.~ Melody Cooper and friends performed for the group of 75 that included Bayshore Manor and MARC residents.~ The group was extremely
congenial and everyone had fun singing Christmas carols. |
