County Unveils New Website in Spanish

Monroe County has just announced a new website in Spanish. Users need only go to the Internet and type in www.monroecounty-fl.gov/Espanol to find a wealth of information in Spanish about programs and services as well as of agencies that offer help to families and individuals. The website will place a lot of helpful information in one easily accessible place.
“Most websites - like newspapers, TV programs, and other Sources of information - are geared to people who speak English. Too few resources are written in Spanish,” said County Administrator Tom Willi. “We want to make sure people are able to get the information they need to enjoy a good quality of life - that is, help with employment, social services, code enforcement, emergency information and whatever else they may need.”
