"BusPass" is here!
INTRODUCING MCT "BusPass" - Do you ride MCT more than 3 times a week? If the answer is "yes", then BusPass should save you money for the trips that you now normally take and allow you to ride even more often for no additional cost!
MCT BusPass costs $25.00 per month allowing you to ride MCT buses as much as you want within the calendar month for no additional cost. The prepaid $25.00 fee should be paid before the beginning of the month to gain the full benefits of the MCT BusPass. Please note that the BusPass is not pro-rated or refundable in whole or in part after purchase. Once paid, each trip is included in the monthly cost of the BusPass. Bottom line, all the trips during the BusPass month are covered by the prepaid BusPass no matter the distance or the frequency used. As in the past, trips must be scheduled and are based on availability for the times requested.
Call our friendly Customer Care staff, Maritza or Arlene, at 305-292-4424 for additional information. You may pay the driver the $25.00 and just tell them you would like a BusPass for the coming month.
Make sure we have received the money for the BusPass by the "25th of the month preceeding" the actual effective BusPass month. This is requested to make sure the pass takes effect for month you intended it to be effective. Otherwise your payment may become effective not the next month but the following month, leaving you without a BusPass for the coming month.
There are no full or partial refunds of the BusPass once purchased nor is the BusPass transferable.
"BusVouchers"
Don't forget about BusVouchers!...MCT BusVouchers are a safe and convenient way to see that your clients or family members have the funds available to ride the MCT. The BusVouchers booklet costs $20.00 and contains twenty (20) $1.00 trip tickets. Vouchers are used like cash to ride the buses.To purchase a booklet(s) just tell your driver that you would like to purchase a booklet of BusVouchers paying him using a check payable to MC BOCC or cash. Then usually within two days your Vouchers will be presented to you by your driver of that day. MCT BusVouchers are not refundable once purchased.
