This office responds to requests for information from the news media, produces news releases, informational brochures and other publications. It also manages and maintains the official Monroe County Web site (www.monroecounty-fl.gov), as well as assists other county departments and agencies in developing and carrying out public information strategies that communicate information about county government services to the media, general public, other governmental agencies, and the business community. Our goal is to ensure that you have the information you need in a timely and efficient manner.

The mission of this Office is to provide clear and open communications to the citizens of Monroe County about the government’s goals, activities, and services. The office was established in 2002.
