Become A Child Advocate
Blonde woman with brunette child LR.jpg

Today, there are many children in the system that have no access to a GAL volunteer. Until every child has a voice, the GAL Program will not rest. Our Guardian ad Litem advocate volunteers are the voice in court for abused, abandoned or neglected children.

Our Mission

The child’s best interest is our only interest in our ultimate goal of ensuring each child has a safe, permanent home.

Children who have a Guardian ad Litem volunteer do better in school; find a safe permanent home more quickly; are less likely to return to foster care; and receive more services to help them in what is certainly the most difficult time in their lives.

If you are passionate about children, and want to make a difference in a child’s life by breaking the circle of abuse, you can help by becoming a Guardian ad Litem volunteer, connecting with us on Facebook, or making a donation to our affiliated non-profit organization at the statewide and community level.

Interested in being a voice for a child?  Click on the link below and fill out the form to receive a call from a staff member who will tell you more about advocating for Monroe’s abused and neglected children.
